Streamlight's application of High Intensity Discharge (HID) Xenon lamp technology offers incredible brightness - 3350 Lumens typical, or more than eight times brighter than Streamlight's most powerful Halogen-bulb LiteBox. The increased output represents a major advance for law enforcement, military, fire and rescue professionals in need of an ultra-bright portable light capable of providing both spot and scene lighting. The H.I.D. LiteBox has the intensity and peripheral illumination to light an entire scene; plus navigation LEDs for low-light maneuvering. The dual white navigation LEDs (9 lumens each, typical) allow users to save battery power in situations that don't require the full brightness of the HID lamp. Ideal for field maintenance, inspection of construction sites and remote equipment, it’s a heavy-duty, rechargeable, completely portable high intensity search that does it all.

Streamlight's new HID LiteBox combines the latest High Intensity Discharge Xenon lamp technology with our proven LiteBox lantern platform. This allows the thousands of agencies already using existing LiteBox models to experience the benefits of the new HID technology without the need to upgrade or replace existing LiteBox charge racks. HID Xenon lamps represent the state-of-the-art in lighting technology today.

The zero-maintenance 12-Volt, 7.2 Amp/hour sealed lead acid rechargeable battery is rechargeable up to 500 times, and operates the HID lamp for up to 1.75 hours per charge, or the dual LEDs for more than 100 hours per charge. Red and green LEDs provide instant charge status feedback, and the charger features a continuous trickle charge function to keep batteries at their maximum capacity, ready for deployment.

The H.I.D. LiteBox is a heavy-duty, rechargeable, completely portable high intensity search light. It produces a focused beam of light measuring 1 Million candlepower that illuminates objects 1 mile away and additionally features navigation LEDs for low light maneuvering. Integral D-rings allow attachment of the included shoulder strap. Optional IR pass filter attaches to elastomer lens ring. Case material is high-impact ABS thermoplastic housing. Elastomer impact bumper, lens ring and cushioned grip/handle. Weatherproof construction.
